Christmas Embroidery Swap

I belong to a wonderful embroidery group on facebook and we did a Christmas Pillow Swap.  Each of the participants created 2 pillow covers to be swapped with another member.  I used 2 beautiful designs from Embroidery Library. here  They both took a little more than 2 hours to stitch out, but they turned out beautiful.  The fabric I chose was a tone on tone ivory satin striped woven.  We had an online party on the group page and everyone posted and admired everyone elses designs.  Our group leader John, created his pillow cover with the most Gorgeous Christmas Angel designs from EL.  here

Here are the 2 pillow covers I sent my swap buddy:

Here is one of the two the pillow covers I received from my swap buddy:  It’s embroidered in varigated shades of blue.  The fabric is printed blue and white snowflakes.  I was very happy to receive them!!
If you’re interested in joining a very active group, all are welcome no matter the embroidery/sewing machine as we are all crafters and family.  Check it out on Facebook – Futura Embroidery Group.
