Hi Everyone!!  My first video is ready for you to view!!

I will be teaching you how to sewing using the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 in this series of Videos on my Youtube Channel as well as Photo Illustrations here on my blog.  This machine has received good review after good review, so I thought I would show how feature rich this machine is for a rather low price point. I will be showing in the series the simple operation of the machine, utility sewing, decorating stitching, the variety of buttonholes and using the built in alphabets.

I’ve owned the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 for about a year and a half now.  This is a midsized machine with a nice amount of power.  It sews smoothly and quietly.  It has the option to sew using the on/off button or with the foot pedal.  It’s very easy to thread as well as wind the bobbin.  It uses class 15J bobbins which are available at many retailers. It has a built in needle threader and cutter.  There is a very nice selection of utility stitches as well as deco stitches.  The buttonholes are one of the nicest features.  It has one that’s not even on my Singer Quantum L-500 which is a larger machine more powerful machine at a much higher price point.  I purchased it mainly because I LOVED the specialty sewing feet “value added package” the machine came with.  I’ve already done reviews on some of these feet.  Just click on the highlighted “specialty feet” links to read the reviews.  All of these specialty feet require the use of the coordinating ankle which is included in this package.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my New Video Series.  Even if you don’t own this machine, I will be covering regular sewing operations that can be useful for any machine you currently own for you to learn.  I will be showing how to use all of the accessories that come with this machine as the video series progresses for you to make maximum use of your machine.  This is a standard “low shank” machine, so chances are that the specialty feet I will be showing are offered for your machine as well.  You may even already own these feet and just never explored your options.  My goal this year was to learn all of my feet that came with my machines.  I will be showing you different applications for you to use your machine as well.  If there is something you’d like to see, would like to learn or need help with, please feel free to message me, send and email or leave me a comment.
