Pantone 2016 Spring Color Palette!!

Ok, I know….Winter has barely just begun.  BUT here in the south eastern portion of Florida, Winter hasn’t arrived. AT ALL. Sorry, but we can’t count that 18 hour, 10 degree drop in the temperature last month.  The humidity is still going strong with no relief in site.   So moving right along to Spring, is how I plan to deal with that!!  How could I not?  The Pantone 2016 color palette is so soft and beautiful.

For the first time, the blending of two shades – Serenity and Rose Quartz – have been chosen as the Pantone Color of the Year!

This harmonious pairing of inviting shades embody a mindset of tranquility and inner peace.

“With the whole greater than it’s individual parts, joined together Serenity and Rose Quartz demonstrate and inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace,” said Leatrice Eisman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.

Seems like an interesting idea to select a blended tone for the color of the year.  So many options in the range to find just the right color to appeal to each of us!  I’m inspired!!

Have a Happy Creative Day,
Roxanne
