Hi Everyone!! Â First, I would like to say THANK YOU for the amazing response from YOU to my Video Series featuring the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960. Â It’s truly been amazing with all the kind comments, emails, questions, sharing and requests.
Â
Â
Keeping that in mind, I decided that I would like to share a New Video Series!!  With all the interest, requests and questions I’ve gotten over the past 8 months about the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960, I thought I would introduce the perfect companion machine!!  I’ve owned this machine for many years and have used it and enjoyed it very much.  I own several other sergers, however this is the one I use most often to join my knit seams with confidence.  I like to leave my other sergers set up to do other stitches, such as narrow rolled hem, a narrow overlock for my woven fabrications or a flatlock stitch.

 Â
- 1. Â Two-Thread Wrapped Edge Overlock
- 2. Â Two-Thread Standard Rolled Hem Stitch
- 3. Â Three-Thread Overlock
- 4. Â Three-Thread Flatlock
- 5. Â Three-Thread Wrapped Edge Overlock
- 6. Â Four-Thread Ultra-Stretch Mock Safety Stitch

This is very cool! Now I can make the right decision on whether or not I actually want to buy a seger…I've been debating about it for a while.
Thanks Merissa! Check it out and maybe my new video Serger Basics Part 1 will help you decide.
Several sergers?! *gasp* I'm jealous lol. Almost anytime I star a sewing project, I wish I had a serger. I don't really sew often enough to make it a worthwhile purchase though.
Oh I long for a nice machine, I love sewing very much, it relaxes me. Hope I get to do some for the summer.
Hi Elise. When you do as much sewing as I do, it takes too much time to continuously set up the same machine to do different stitches. It just makes sense to set several machine up with different stitching operations. Maybe you will find one in your future.
Hi Emy, glad to hear you enjoy sewing. If you need some pointers, please check out my video tutorials. Thanks!!
cool! i really wish I could sew better, but you are making it super easy to learn! thanks!
Thanks Heather. I try to make it as simple as possible.
I need to work on my sewing skills. A straight line is about the most I can do at this point.
Hi Allison. Check out my videos, they may be helpful for you. Good luck!
Thanks for your videos. They saved my sanity today. Got a new serger but couldn't for life of me work out how thread it and set it! 10 mins of your video and it's now my new best friend! Singer should ditch their instructions and just provide a link to your YouTube videos!
