I decided to participate in my first PatternReview sewing contest.  I’ve been a free member of PR for almost 3 years now and although I’ve sewn along with contests before, I’ve never officially entered.  This year will be different.  I’m in the process of reigniting my Creative Spirit and what better way to start then to grab a pattern, choose some fabulous fabric and GET TO IT !!  I’ve chosen Simplicity  #2223 for it’s versatility as a jacket.  It can be made in many types of fabrics and can act as a blank canvas for any details I may wish to incorporate.  I’m just gonna have FUN with it!!
