Hi Everyone!  I recently shared a customized label I made with the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 Fan Group for the “Mermaid of Love” project.  I asked if they would be interested in a video on “how to create” a customized label and they said YES!!  So here’s the video showing you how to make your own personalized labels for your projects!

Here’s the label I made for my piece.  I used the block lettering because that’s my favorite of the 4 English fonts.  I like it because I don’t have to trim the bottom of the letters if I don’t want too.  Makes the lettering look more continuous.  I may consider clipping between the words next time.

The most asked question I receive about the letter & number stitch options is:  Can I make the letters or numbers larger?  No, they are preset into the machine and can’t not be edited.

I hope you find this video tutorial helpful and try to create your own personalized label for your project.  It makes a handmade quilt or other gift a little extra special for the recipient to see their gift personalized by the person who created the item.  It can be a message of love or encouragement and that makes it truly special.  Give it a try!!
