Hi Everyone!  I’m back with a New Video Pattern Review of a FABULOUS Fall pattern called the Marcy, from McCall’s Patterns.  If you haven’t checked out McCall’s Patterns in a while, they’ve revamped their look and now give names to some of their new designs.  I have another first to announce too!  I’m going to have my first Give Away!  I know the new pattern collections are not always easy to find in your local stores, so I’m giving away 2 Marcy Patterns to 2 Lucky Sewists, so they can “Sew Their Own Look”!!

The Marcy is a classic dress silhouette that I made in fashion forward by using a fun animal print!  The fabrication I used is a stretch cotton sateen in the most wonderful zebra print featuring 2 shades of blue, a bright green and soft tan on a crisp white background.  The pattern number is #8139 and it’s from the New Fall 2020 Pattern Collection.  If you’re interested in viewing the full Fall 2020 LookBook of all the patterns from this new collection, click HERE.  I’m calling my look, “Florida Fall Fashion” since animal prints are traditionally worn during the Fall season.  Here in SoFlo, we can get away with wearing white after Labor Day so this is my take on a Fall Animal Print Dress!! Click below for all the deets on this pattern in my video review and see the changes I made to this classic pattern.

#MarcyMcCalls Video Pattern Review

I hope you find this video pattern review helpful if you’ve been interested in making your own #MarcyMcCalls Dress M8139.  It’s a great versatile pattern with sleeve, pocket placement and length options.  This would be perfect made in denim for a more casual option too.  I think I see another in my very near future!! Don’t forget to head over to my Instagram Account, Roxanne Stitches and get in on my first Give-Away.  Winners will be announced on November 1, 2020!!  Good Luck!!
