Hi Everyone!  I’ve had more than a few requests for an update on my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960.  I thought after having my machine almost 15 years, that an update post and video was in order.  This is still a popular machine on the retail market and also the secondary market.  I’ve seen them on Craigslist, FB Marketplace and even on the auction sites.  The secondary market is hit or miss, but for the right price, it might be worth a try.  The problem with purchasing used is that you never know what wear and tear has been on the machine.  Many of these machines were sold during Covid for mask making and they were abused.

This new video shares some of my favorite features of the machine as well as some features I’m not as happy with.  I also recommend some alternatives and work arounds that I’ve found to make the drawbacks less problematic.

So, if you were curious about the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960, this video should answer some of your questions.  This machine is still currently being sold and in my opinion still a good value for the money.  Singer has come out with other models over the years but none that I think surpasses the options and accessories that the 9960 has.  No matter what machine you decide to go with, just make sure it’s a machine you’ll be happy being creative with.
